This is the worst furniture company and the management there is absolutely horrendous. We purchased living room furniture back in July for our rental cabin we expected to be completed in a few months.
We paid a deposit, then when it arrived in September we had to pay in full in order for it to be "held" for us. I found that frustrating as otherwise what good is a deposit but we made a special trip to Knoxville to pay in full as they do not take credit cards over the phone apparently. Then 5 days before our delivery is scheduled I receive a call saying they do not have the sofa and loveseat we ordered (they told me it was probably sold to someone that needed it faster) and tried to get me to choose an alternative without even seeing in person. The fact that we paid for something in full and then they admit they probably sold it to someone else is the worst business practice.
Management did NOTHING. Luckily, I had the company's owner's phone number and told him about the situation. Within minutes, management calls to say they ARE delivering my original items on original delivery date but won't tell me how they found the missing furniture. Delivery date comes, sofa and loveseat are not the same color, loveseat is missing legs, and the coffee table doesn't arrive.
They apparently sold the coffee table as well and now it is discontinued so there's no way to get another matching one. I will never purchase from this store again and I am appalled that they run a business this way, it is such a scam on so many levels.

We purchased two couches from them and purchased the extended warranty due to grandkids and our dog. When the surface of the material started peeling off after one year they told us this was due to "normal" wear and tear.
Therefore the warranty did not cover this.
Now we have two couches which look like they are fifty years old instead of three. Since it is just my wife and I one of them almost never gets used yet the material has peeled off of it also.
The moral of this story is DO NOT PURCHASE from here, their prices are not any better, they tell you they are selling you quality but instead you are purchasing junk.

Would love to give them NEGATIVE STARS. Worst customer service i have ever seen..and no effort to win our business.
Our family moved here in October and were looking for a home and shopping around for what furniture we would like to use in our new home.
We had an offer on home accepted and went in just after Thanksgiving when we were finally in the process of closing on a house.
We have multiple rooms we need furniture for. We started off focused on just two and were planning on spending a good deal of money with them.
A Man named Dave helped us.
He told us 72 months 0 percent interest!! This was shocking and he told us "Yes really 72 months zero percent" Naturally this was interesting to us.
Also he told us everything was on back order and in order for us to get our order "locked in, to get the ball rolling, and get the 72 months" we could give a small deposit of only a couple hundred dollars.
We told him we didn't want to do a check on our credit as we were in the middle of closing on a home. Dave promised us and we left the deposit...listening to Dave's promises and were excited knowing that we would be in good hands with Dave and company, after all, he said he had been there for a couple decades..why not trust him?.....boy we were wrong!
Dave would give us a call..and didn't We called and he still didn't call back.
I called and left a voicemail.
Just to be sure i went to the website and sent a message online informing of our situation and asking for a Manager to give me a call
...They never called
Finally, we went back in somewhat reluctant and confused, but ready to make the purchase....naturally Dave wasn't there
We were also told that no it is not 72 months as we were told but only 36 months financing
and the deposit should be much higher than we were told
and the order wasn't "started" as we were promised..paperwork had not been completed and the special order was never followed up on to get an accurate amount. In addition, the "couple hundred" it would cost for a custom order would be more like a thousand dollars....or more.
They told us there was an issue getting information from their supplier...but made no effort to call them while we were there in the store. YET somehow talked us into submitting our credit application. We asked if this would be a hard check and were told by the one of ladies up front that it would be a "soft credit check" it was NOT it was a hard credit check and it affected my wife's credit score negatively.
If we were told the truth we likely would not have sent in our application.
We both had excellent credit before this nightmare.
We tried to get a refund for our deposit by calling them, but were told that we had to have the card physically there to get a refund. We thought, oh well, they must be wanting to earn back our business. This was not the case. We asked our sales person for a refund and he said "OK, sorry you weren't happy"
No effort at all to gain our business or a nice fat commission he would have had.
Really makes no sense! To make it more interesting there was another couple waiting to talk to our sales guy with an issue about "being lied to about their payment terms"..oh brother!
RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE..The burned us and will likely burn you too.
You would think they would have wanted to make this right and keep our business. If we would have had a good experience I am sure we would have used them for just more than the two rooms. If we would have had a good experience we certainly would have spent thousands of dollars and let our friends and family know it is a great place to go...but we will tell many many more people to run far far away from this company that just doesn't care about their customers.
Every chance we gave them to work with us they showed absolutely no interest in making things right.
I would say, avoid these people! I have NO IDEA how they were "voted the best" in Knoxville...Best at ripping people off perhaps.

Delivery of wrong recliners
BUYER BEWARE!! Do NOT shop at Knoxville Wholesale Furniture!
Their sales team members are rejects from Used Car Saleman's School...my aplogolies to any used car salesman. I just wish I had read the reviews before I put my foot inside the door.
In a nutshell..... I ordered 2 black recliners on Aug 21, 2020 and was told by Sheri that they would arrive in three weeks....1st lie! Call her back in about 4 weeks and was told they didn't come in on the truck....2nd lie!
Called back in 6 weeks and was told that I was second on the list to get the recliners......first mention of a 'list'. She called me in mid-October to tell me recliners would be delivered on Nov 19th and they were delivered on Nov 19 BUT they were brown not black.
Called her before the delivery guys left and she told me that I had orderd brown chairs.........really??? I am not color-challenged; I know what color of chair I ordered! Now here's the real story.
There was a black recliner on the floor when I orderd the recliners. She knew that the black recliner was no longer being made but did not tell me; instead, she wrote down 'brown or bark (looks a lot like 'black') on the order. She intentionally ordered the wrong color just to sell the chairs!!
I waited three months to get the recliners; when the chairs were unloaded, I told the delivery people that the chairs were the wrong color. The deliver guys (really nice people) told me that the recliners were no longer made in black.
Before the delivery guys left, I called her and asked why I did not receive the black chairs and she said, "Well! the company doesn't make black chairs anymore and brown goes with almost anything!"
If you choose to shop at Knoxville Wholesale Furniture, expect to encounter sales people who have no passing knowledge with honesty and ethics!

I haven't heard anything at all from knoxville furniture. Or anyone !!!!
The worker told my son law it was good !! Well the box blow out of the truck and ending in the side of the road !!! It torn up my recliner so I call the store twice that day and talk to the salesman which was ROB!!I was panicky to think this happen but thank God no one was hurt !! Rob told us to call our insurance twice that we purchase also!!
Well of course the insurance said they didn't cover the transit and it was the store fault of not secure the box !!! As I call the store my salemans got very rude with me and said why did I call the insurance co and I said You Told Us Too Twice !!! After a few words I said listen I take the responsibility of the accident but would you see if there another recliner in your store and he said give me a few minutes and he call me back but I knew he wouldn't !!! A rude and untrusting salemans !!
He didn't every return my call and I would of pay for another recliner just to have it matching my couch !!! So Ian now looking for a Ashley store to buy another recliner!!! Sad to have anyone be treated as he did us !! Good to you when buying but for accidents they don't want to deal with you or solve the issue !!
If all knoxville wholesale store has rules or salemans like that!! than I wouldn't recommend that store to anyone !!!

Bought a couch and a love seat both recliners, we bought the 5 year warranty THANK GOD! Weve had our couches for 1 YEAR.
Have had to have the loveseat replaced TWICE, now the big couch is broken. They came out to check it and NOW GIVING ME A HARD TIME TO FIX IT!!!! I've spoke to dave the store manager. Rude.
Called corporate office spoke to Darren. Rude and doesnt know what the *** he is talking about. Darren asked me if we were fat because that could be causing the problem (by the way were not) I will not stop till I get to the top of this business and get these awful couches replaced.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY AND BIG CROCK OF *** IS THE PRODUCTS THEY SELL. If it would let me give zero stars I would.

I bought a leather reclining swivel chair and within the month it would not stay in the reclining position. Also the seat is sagging and it has terrible wrinkles in the leather.
The repairman came out twice and he cannot fix. He even states on the repair order "mechanic is not adjustable for back pressure. Added fill before, but is doing the same thing. New seat case is sinking again and showing wrinkles in leather.
" The chair is defective and I paid $1400 for it! They told me that since I didn't call within a day or two they could not do anything for me. And she stated that the chair on the showroom floor doesn't stay reclined either, which is not true. I have even gone back there since buying to see if it did and it stays reclined.
I expect more from retailers then this.
I am in the market for a bedroom set and i will be going elsewhere. I am also filling out a complain with the BBB and going to look into a small claims court case.

Don't rely on them to follow through
We purchased a couch before Christmas and they were suppose to deliver the Saturday after Christmas. No show and no call.
On the say day of the sale the salesman said to text him if we had any questions, We did text him and no response. That should have been our first warning sign. On the Saturday it was suppose to be delivered my wife called them several times and they could not find out order. So we drove the 45 minutes to the store to get a refund.
When we first got there we were told we had to talk to the salesman, He was paged twice and did not show up. The clerk behind the counter finally found our order and we finally got a full refund.
It was as if they did not care about the sale or the customer. We are going somewhere else.
