Knoxville Wholesale Made it Right!
Frustrating
We found a recliner that was a "yellow tag sale item " even tho the price was the same price it had been when I was in the store before the sale had begun. We were told that we would have to drive to their other location if we wanted to pick the chair up ourselves, which was no small deal in itself but the next day we went.
We were told there that the warehouse was closed that day but if we came back again the very next day we could definitely be able to pick it up. Next day we drove all the way back AGAIN , with our trailer to get it, only to be informed that they only had 2 in the warehouse and they were already spoken for and they never ever sell a chair from the showroom floor. SO, they said that 2 more would come in 4 days later on Friday.
Well, it is now Saturday evening and noone has apparently cared about our business enough to let us know they're available. Disappointed and frustrated..long story long.
Not sure how the outcome will be but I’m not happy at all

I have made several purchases over the years with this company and have nothing but good things to say! Websites like this that offer no solutions, only a place for people to come and vent really serve no valid purpose.
Ask yourself this simple question, whats your favorite place to eat? How many times have you gone online and posted what a great place it is?
KWF is a big company and does a lot of volume in Knoxville and does a lot of good things for the community! So 71 negative posts, is that really bad, considering most of them are wrong or misguided!

Child injured because of lousy installation
Went to Knoxville Wholesale Furniture on Peters Rd. about a week ago.
Salesperson was kind and helpful but the quality of their furnitures and installation is simply unacceptable. Loveseat came ripped, kids bed frame was defective so they couldn't install it, dining table had a big scratch on the side. 2 out of the 4 drawers they installed were cracked during the installation process and wouldn't slide in. I tried to work with them and get the issues resolved until my son cut his finger on a childrens dresser they installed - which had a huge nail sticking out on the inside.
I inspected other units in the kids set and found a nail sticking out on the bunk stairs and more cracks on the bed frame where they screwed. At this point I was so upset I just wanted to be done with them.
Manager refused a refund and even implied that I was not doing my job as a parent to inspect the units before letting my child use it. It's been almost a week and the kids still don't have a safe, functional bed to use.
Bought a sofa .. told delivery never heard anything..
Serta mattress product and customer service are the worst
Sagging mattress.
I bought around 6000.00 in furniture at Knoxville Wholesale furniture, at the Callahan Road, location. The mattress I purchased sagged in the middle.
I kind of ignored it at first but each time I would make the bed it seemed so apparent that I took pictures of it. I called in April and someone came out and measured and I then received a call to come to the Peters Road, location and look at another mattress. I was told this is the replacement mattress you can choose. I did not like the mattress, it did not seem comfortable and I was then told I could choose from two more, and he also noticed that I would have to pay 54.00 due to a discount I had been given on the mattress I had purchased.
Neither of the mattresses, had the pillow top option on the replacement options and I felt I had no options. The way the salesman talked to me made me feel it was my weight and even thought he never came out and said that I felt it was implied. He kept saying this one will support you more. I did not like any of the mattress offered and he said the one I had purchased was no longer available.
I called the Callahan store and spoke to a salesman and he said "yes we still have those. " I will never buy anything from these people again.
This just was not right and now I'm either stuck with a sagging mattress or take their poor options for replacements, and had to pay in addition to what I had all ready paid. Poor business, I will never suggest anyone go to this place for any purchase.

VERY BAD! Don't buy from them!
We ordered a couch and love seat on July 8th. Was told by the salesman that it would be in in 2 weeks.
He changed it to 3 weeks, but okay. On July 28th we get a call saying that the manufacturer sent 2 love seats and no couch. We finally found out from the store manager that the manufacturer didn't mess up the order, but the salesman ordered it wrong. They delivered the 2 love seats with the understanding that we could keep the extra love seat until the couch arrived, approximately 2 weeks.
Now, three week later still no couch. We were told that it should come on the truck today but since the shipping department has already left they have no way of knowing if it came or not? Wow, who runs a business like that? Needless to say I'll never buy anything from them again and will be telling everyone that will listen not to do business with them.
I wish I had known how bad they were before I bought from them. Buyer beware!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
Purchased Recliner and stand on 7/8/2017 I picked up stand from the Old Callahan location in Powell. Before I left the Kingston Pike location I waited unti Salesman confirmed he sent deliver information for chair and pickup information for Stand.
When I arrived at the Old Challahan location I went into office confirmed they had information from Kingston pike location and 2 warehouse office personnel confirmed and both stated chair will deliver on 7/12. Whe calling on 7/12 @ 12:20 pm the Challahan location personnel stated they have no record of deliver and it's nothing they can do.
Very SAD customerservice!!!!! Very sad after you pay so much money and a DELIVERY charge.

This company is garbage! No customer service.
How about waiting 5 weeks for furniture that was supposed to be in stock and delivered a week and two days after purchase and getting rid of your previous furniture to make room for the new furniture only to not have a place to sit for a month. Oh and also taking off a half days work on the day of delivery only to get a call finally at delivery time to say it isn't coming?? That's not reason to say something?
